Project experience
- Oversaw the website redevelopment project at the Racine Public Library.
- Worked closely with the Executive Director and the Digital Services and Innovation Team to gather preliminary data and formulate solutions for the website design project. Enhanced the initial developer proposal with changes to the site architecture, usability features, navigation, and graphics.
- Liaised between various stakeholders and established strong professional relations to ensure the project remained on track.
- Facilitated the implementation and transition phase between both outside vendors. Effectively communicated and oversaw expectations regarding project strategies, deliverables, and any issues with the project.
- Assisted in organizing and facilitating portions of the completed construction process for the Library’s 2nd floor renovation.
- Worked closely with the Executive Director, the contractor, and the architects to troubleshoot structural and technological issues as it related to a second access point into the Library.
- Conducted a post-walkthrough with the contractors and architects identifying any final issues; further detected and found successful solutions for problems related to multiple projects.
- Scheduled meetings with the contractor, vendors, and various stakeholders to meet the project end’s timeline.

Technology
- Serves as subject matter expert in technology-specific systems and processes.
- Drives strategic planning for library technologies, including defining needs and goals, developing and implementing the library’s technology plan, evaluating and recommending technological solutions, and preparing and managing the technology budget; develops annual and multi-year goals and objectives for the Tech Team, monitors and reports progress to the Executive Director.
- Leads and manages library technology training, services, and programs for the staff and public.
- Coordinates, and manages library technology systems such as Bitrix24, self-checkout machines, digital resources, community engagement platforms, etc. Serves as project manager for projects related to library technology systems.
- Liaison to the IT & ILS Manager of Lakeshores Library System and the City’s MIS Department.
- Assists with the coordination and administration/maintenance efforts of the library’s online presence, including the library’s website, to provide a secure, stable, and seamless experience for patrons and staff.
